This program in particular from what I've read here, wants to download/install OTHER programs too. An unasked for piggyback program?! RED FLAG. A out of date download but you have to go somewhere else to download the current version? Why not offer the current version here? RED FLAG. Read the comments here and it sure looks a little shady here. An Anti-Virus ?! Be VERY WARY of ANY program that want's to install unasked for apps or program. If you're using Windows 10, 8 or 8.1, heck even 7 you do not NEED this and it has the potential to do serious harm to your system. Yes, I've used this program a long time ago but would never willingly put it (or any other of this kind) on my machine. 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' is very true with drivers. It will tell you! Drivers are extremely EASY to find, there's no magic or even effort involved to update them IF NEEDED! I've been using computers since Windows 95 and yes, I went through my Driver updater, Registry cleaner, Optimizer phases and got a lot of bricked machines for my efforts.

If you think you may need a driver, go to device manager (in Windows) and see for yourself. Before using one of these do a search, just a generic search, and see what kind of havoc these are capable of. The 'new' registry cleaner/optimizer type as most people have figured out that these are not needed or wanted by the vast majority of even halfway competent users.

As noted by MikeR this is just a feel good type of program.
